Day 01 : Cochin Arrival
You are welcomed at the airport of Cochin by the representative of our local agency or by your French speaking guide. He ensures with you the transfer to the hotel that we have reserved you for the next two nights.

Day 02 : Exploring Cochin
This morning, after breakfast, you leave for the visit of Mattanchéry Palace. Also called "Dutch palace", this palace was built in 1555 by the Portuguese, the first Westerners who arrived in this region, as a gift for the Cochin raja, Veera Kerala Varma.
Its nickname is in fact due to the restoration assumed by the Dutch in 1663. Despite these western origins, the palace is built in Indo-Kerala style, with beautiful carpentry work, magnificent painted coffered ceilings and roofs reminiscent of the pagodas Chinese.
In the afternoon you will visit the synagogue of Kochi, the oldest synagogue in all Commonwealth countries (closed on Friday and Saturday) and the Jewish quarter.
In the evening you will have the chance to attend the Indian classical dance Kathakali.

Day 03 : Cochin / Mararikulam (43kms - 1h)
After breakfast, you visit St. Francis Church and Santa Cruz Basilica before exploring the Fort Kochi area to visit the immense hanging Chinese fishing nets.
You then take the road to Mararikulam and you will settle at the hotel as soon as you arrive.
Your afternoon is free and you can enjoy to relax on the beach.

Day 04 : Mararikulam / Alleppey(Alappuzha) (20mn)
After breakfast, you head towards Alleppey. As soon as you arrive, you settle into your house-boat before leaving for a short stroll on the backwaters canals to discover the surrounding villages.

Day 05 : Alleppey / Periyar (128kms - 3h30)
After breakfast, you take the road to Thekkady, a small village near Periyar reserve and many spice plantations. You settle at the hotel when you arrive. In the late afternoon, you visit various spice plantations in Kumily town which is on the outskirts of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. There you will have the opportunity to find spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, ginger or curcumine. A boat safari on Periyar Lake is scheduled for the evening. (If, for any impediment, we are unable to make the boat tour tonight, we will shift this activity to the next morning) Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Periyar
Following a delightful breakfast, a myriad of site seeing activities awaits us for the day like going for a walk in the park, going for a jeep excursion in the surroundings as well as a boat trip on the lake and on the back of an elephant in the jungle are the various activities proposed to you.
You can also stay at the hotel if you want to have enjoy in the swimming pool or a simple relaxation procured by the Ayurvedic treatments in your hotel.

Day 07 : Periyar / Munnar (98kms - 3h15)
After a delightful breakfast, you leave for Munnar and you settle at the hotel as soon as you arrive.Later, you visit the Tata Tea Museum and the magnificent tea plantations. (Closed on Mondays). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 : Munnar Exploration
After breakfast, a sightseeing of Munar, Eravikulam National Park, Rajamala Peak, Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point will fill your day. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09 : Munnar / KodaiKanal (163kms - 4h30)
Your afternoon is dedicated to exploring the Elephant National Park, a haven for diverse flora and fauna. Here, you might encounter wild boars, majestic elephants, gaurs, and the rare Nilgiri Tahar (A rare and endangered mountain goat species endemic to the Western Ghats of southern India). With lick on your side, you might even catch a glimpse of the renowned Bengal tiger, adding an extra touch of wonder to your visit.
You return to the hotel where you spend the night.
Day 10 : Kodai Kanal: The Hill Station
In the early morning, you go on a boat safari to admire the amazing wildlife of this reserve.
The rest of the day is devoted to a safari in the park.

Day 11 : KodaiKanal / Palakkad (174kms - 4h15)
After breakfast, you leave KodaiKanal to reach Palakkad. You settle at the hotel upon your arrival.
You then go to visit Kalpathy temple. Also known as KashiViswanathaswamy, it is a very popular Hindu temple. You continue with the visit of the Malampuzha Rock garden, the first garden built in this style in South India where you will discover impressive artworks in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
Later, you will discover the Fort of the city. Built in 1766, it is located in the heart of the city and remains one of the best preserved forts in Kerala. In the afternoon, you make an excursion to Dhoni Falls. Situated about 15kms from Palakkad’s town, this waterfall is a very popular place and loved by tourists especially for trekking. After reaching the summit, you will have a superb view over the jungle and the waterfall where you may have bath to refresh yourself.
Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Palakkad / Wayanad (180kms - 5 hours)
Today, after your breakfast, you will visit Thirunelli temple, an ancient temple located 900m above the sea level in a valley which is surrounded by mountains and magnificent forests and dedicated to Lord Maha Vishnu and the visit of the 15th century Jain temple which fill your morning.
In the afternoon you go on a jeep safari in the Wayanad National Park before heading to Wayanad district
(Known for its lush greenery) where you will settle at the hotel.

Day 13 : Wayanad- The Diverse District
After breakfast, you go for a walk in Wayanad Wild Sanctuary, the second biggest park in Kerala. With an area of 344.44km2, you will see in this park a huge variety of fauna and flora: Indian bison, elephants, deer and even tigers can be seen.
Return to the hotel.

Day 14 : Wayanad / Thrissur (188kms - 5h)
This morning, after your breakfast, you take the road to reach Thrissur where you settle at the hotel on arrival. You then leave to attend the magnificent processions of Pooramcaparisoned elephants, carrying their palanquins to the thousand gildings of temples divinities statues of the region.
In the afternoon we will visit the prestigious school of Kalamandalam, a venerable institution that teaches the traditional scenic arts of Kerala: you attend Kathakali, costume and sung drama, as well as Koodyatta and Mohiniyaattam, exclusively danced by women.

Day 15: Thrissur / Cochin (86kms - 2h)
After having a delightful breakfast, you take the road towards Cochin before being transferred to the international airport to take your return flight.
