Day 2 : Delhi Exploration and Journey to Amritsar (Train)

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast as you embark on an exploration of the vibrant city of Delhi. Steeped in history, Delhi served as the capital for two empires - first, under the Mughals, and later, in 1911, under British rule. The city presents a fascinating duality: New Delhi, marked by Victorian architecture, wide avenues, and a bustling business district centered around Connaught Place, and Old Delhi, the ancient capital of Muslim rulers in India. Old Delhi boasts lively bazaars, iconic landmarks like the Red Fort, a testament to Mughal power, and the Jama Masjid, the country's largest mosque.

Your journey through Old Delhi takes you past the historic Rajghat, the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi, and includes visits to architectural marvels such as Humayun’s Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal, and Qutub Minar, the nation's tallest tower standing at 72.5 meters.

Exploration continues into New Delhi, with a drive along Rajpath, the Royal Way, offering views of the iconic India Gate, Parliament, and the Presidential Palace.
