Day 01 :  Delhi

You are welcomed at Delhi Airport either by the representative of our local agency or by you English-speaking guide. He ensures your transfer to your hotel.

Overnight stay at the Hotel with a delightful dinner.

 

Day 02 :  Delhi / Srinagar 

After breakfast, you take a flight to Srinagar and at arrival, you settle in the hotel.

You then leave for the discovery of Mughal Gardens Nishat, the “Garden of joy”. Built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, Nishat Bagh is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmire Valley. You also visit Shalimar garden and Shankaracharya temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In the evening, you’ll go on a boat ride "Shikara” a cultural symbol of Kashmir. Formerly used for fishing, these “Venetian gondolas” kind of, are now mostly used by tourists around Dal Lake.

Day 03 :  Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar: (92 Kms-2h)

After breakfast, you leave from Srinagar and drive to Sonmarg where you settle at the hotel upon arriving.

The whole day is dedicated to an excursion to Sonmarg translated as the “Meadow of gold” but mostly known as "Gateway of Ladakh" is a hill station situated in Ganderbal district. You will see breathtaking views over the amazing montains and landscapes.

In the evening return to Srinagar and join hotel for overnight stay.

 

Day 04 :  Srinagar– Pahalgam: - (93 Kms-1h50)

After a heavy breakfast, youtake the road to Pahalgam (Valley of Kashmir). On the way, you visit saffron fields as well as Avanti Raja’s ruined Palace.

You then arrive at Pahalgam, a very popular destination and station hill. It is alsothe most famous place for Film industry. You settle at your hotel when you arrive.

Day 05 :  Pahalgam: -

After breakfast, your full day is dedicated to Pahalgam. You can have the local sightseeing of Aru Valley, noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. You can also see Betaab Valley andChandanwari (on your own cost).

Day 06 :  Pahalgam – Gulmarg: – (137 Kms-2h45)

After breakfast, you leave from Pahalgam to join Gulmarg, situated in the western Himalayas, it’s a famous ski station.

The evening is free to explore the charm & beauty of Gulmarg Valley and you can enjoy a pony ride and a Gondola ride (cable car)Khilanmarg in the world's second highest operating cable car since 2008.

Day 07 :  Gulmarg – Srinagar:(50kms-1h)

After breakfast, you leave from Gulmarg and drive to Srinagar, the largest city and summer capital of the state. Reaching Srinagar, you then join your houseboat where you settle.

You can enjoy your evening and overnight stay on the houseboat, a great experience.

 

Day 08 :  Srinagar-Leh-(Flight) 

This morning, after breakfast, you are transferred to Srinagar airport to take a flight to Leh.

Leh was once an important trading center of the Silk Road. The city is dominated by the nine-storey palace: Namgyal, similar in architecture to the Potala of Lhasa.

When you arrive, you settle down at the hotel and have all day to rest and get used to the altitude (the city is located at 3500m). In the evening, you take a short stroll through the colorful bazaars of the city.

Day 09 :  Leh / Lamayouro / Sham (108kms-2h15)

After breakfast, your vehicle awaits you and you take the road to reach Sham Valley. On the way, you visit the Liker Monastery, the Magnetic hill as well as GurudwaraPathar Sahib.

You arrive in Sham Valley at the end of the morning and you settle at your hotel.

In the afternoon, you hit the road to Lamayuru and discover hypnotic landscapes (mesmerizing Moon landscapes) and Lamayurumonastery, one of the largest and oldest in Ladakh; 400 monks once lived there. Its frescoes and a beautiful statue of the Buddha Vairochana as well as the exceptional landscapes around make Lamayuru a magnificent excursion.

Day 10 : Sham / Leh(83kms-1h50)

After breakfast, you take the departure for Leh and on the road, you visit the D'alchi monastery and the pantheon.

It is in the late afternoon that you arrive and you settle down at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 11 : Leh / Nubra Valle (via Khardung / Hunder's Dune) (159kms-4h50)

After breakfast, you leave for Nubra Valley, also called “Valley of Flowers” or “Ldumra”. You will cross the famous Khardung, the highest road in the world. (Located at 5602m above sea level)

You settle down to the camp before heading off to Hunder's Dune nicknamed the "desert in the sky" where you go on a camel ride, the only region in India where it can be found.

Day 12 : Nabra / Deskit Monastery/Leh(74kms-2h30)

After breakfast, you will discover Deskitmonestary which hides an impressive statue of Maitreya. You then reach Leh via a well-known place where you will surely take a photo souvenir with the 'Khardung Top' sign, located at 5602m altitude, the highest road in the world.

Day 13 : Leh / Pangong Lake(147kms-3h)

After a heavy breakfast, you discover Pangong Lake, also known as the "hollow lake", passing by Chang La, the third highest road in the world with its 5486m altitude.

You check in to the hotel where you settle.

Day 14 : Pangong Lake / Leh / Thillsey Monastery / Shey Monastery(135kms-2h45)

Early in the morning, you will have the chance to witness the sunrise on the lake.

After breakfast, you will discover Sheymonestary, Ladakh royal family’s former residence (the highest point of the monastery is an immense statue in gold plated copper Buddha Shakyamuni) and the river Indus.

Your evening is free so you can fully enjoy your last evening.

You will reach your hotel in Leh in the evening. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 15 : Leh / Delhi 

You are transferred to Leh airport to take a flight to Delhi before taking your return flight.
